I just started doing some Apple iPhone development at my job so they felt it would be a good idea to send me to Apple's World Wide Developer conference in San Fransisco over the past week.

At my job I have only used windows machines to develop on and personally I use an HP laptop with windows and linux on it. So as I pulled out my laptop among the sea of Macbook Pros I felt like I was the non conformist. For the first time in my life I was the one who was different while using my windows machine.

That's right, screw you Mac bastards!!



(I'm actually sitting in the conference right now writing this while hundreds of people with macs wonder why I am such a lamer)

But seriously San Fransisco has been nice, but there is nothing like good ol Salt Lake City.

It has been an odd day, it started out typical but after lunch I received a morose e-mail which left me feeling anomalous. For nearly eight years I have admired you, your confidence, your presence and the respect that you commanded with your presence alone. You always greeted me funny, I can still hear those words "hey stud". You had it all, the money, a good paycheck, nice house, nice cars and a family. The American dream, so to say but that ended this morning. I am not sure of your reason, maybe time will tell. Rest in peace hombre.

The photos are slim this week, after all a three day holiday weekends means that it's time to take a break. I did see one funny thing this week while out shooting graf. I saw a disremembered mannequin near the train tracks...

I've set a new personal record that I haven't achieved in years. 8 days, 12 hours of sleep. Most of this has been due to aforementioned moving, unpacking, work, work, and more work. The security suite that I have been working on for what seems like an eternity is now officially in the beta test stage. I'll put some more news up in a few hours, as I must get back to sorting about 10GB worth of malware for redundancies, and update the databases accordingly.
