Sitting at breakfast today, I realized a couple of things. One-I need to go back to the gym. Two-I need to take my medication. Actually three things, the third being that Scipio scares me. Scipio is a small city/town south of Salt Lake where a late night/early morning run in with a gas station attendant made me feel very uneasy and this is a hard task. I have been in situations where I had a gun held to my head, another where a Vietnam vet went to a very dark place in a small hotel room off of Fremont street and about murdered Brandon and I due to some misunderstanding, but no feelings of unease there. This clerk however, put my mind right in to that scene from Pulp Fiction with the pawn shop owner. I entered the store to pre-pay for gas and the first thing that he said was, "If you guys are planning on robbing me, I have a shotgun behind the counter and my brother is on the highway patrol." The thought hadn't crossed my mind, but now faced with this Pulp Fiction/Deliverance fear and knowing the only way to overcome ones fears are to face them head on, the robbery plot now began to formulate. (Insert man rape dream sequence here for screen play.)
